Welcome to the Boys Preparatory Academy’s Extracurricular Athletic Program.
We are excited about another great year of sports here at Franklin BPA!
Franklin BPA will participate in five extracurricular sports. We will begin the school year with
basketball, followed by volleyball, track, soccer, and finish the year with flag football. In order
to tryout, a complete sports packet must be filled out.
The athletic sports packet includes the following:
A current sports physical on the EL2 form. If your child has had a physical recently but
is not on the EL2 form, you must have your doctor transfer the physical onto the
Athletic insurance must be purchased online. This is a district requirement and is
secondary to your primary insurance. The cost is $25
Every student must have 2 medical release forms signed and notarized. Most banks
offer this service free of charge.
The district is requiring three videos to view and complete prior to tryout. These courses,
presented by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) are free
but does require an email log in. Each course provides a completion certificate which
must be submitted with all other required paperwork.
All of the forms can be downloaded from the district website.
If you have any questions regarding tryouts, or the sports program in general,
please feel free to email me
